Enter Our 2022 Share the Shore & Sea Art Contest!
K–12 students are invited to showcase how we can all share the shore & sea with whales, dolphins, seals, sea turtles, and corals through art! Winners’ work will be featured during NOAA’s Share the Shore and Sea campaign in May 2022.
Each May, NOAA Fisheries celebrates how people share the shore—and sea—with marine wildlife in the week leading up to the Memorial Day holiday. This year, we invite K–12 students to participate in our regional 2022 Share the Shore & Sea Youth Art Contest.
In this age of selfies and social media, it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of being close to wildlife, but marine animals need space to live their wild lives to the fullest. Many species are also protected by law. For their protection and your safety, view them from a distance—and help us spread awareness about responsible wildlife viewing in the Pacific Islands region through art!
